Sabato Urciuoli

Sabato is a talented chap with a very nice folio of work that leans towards the monochrome end of the spectrum at times – which I like. I promised to link him last week so many apologies – you’ve now been ‘tiqued!

Toko

One of my favourite studios – who for some reason or another have yet to be ‘tiqued – have put up a new temporary site whilst a brand spanking new one is being created. This post is basically an excuse to check out a studio who – for my money – are one of the best in the business.

Ken Garland

Ken Garland & Associates has been in operation since 1962 and much of this site is made up of work from this period although there are personal works from before ‘62.

What I like is that much of the work from the 60’s and 70’s is still relevant today.

NoiseFive

Me and Mrs Bitique got on the train and crossed the Pennines to go along to the NoiseFive launch.

It was a great experience to hear James Sommerville and the team behind the book talk about the 3 year journey that took NoiseFive from concept through to production, finishing and eventually my bookshelf. When you consider the book uses 4 colour process plus 27 spots, plus over 30 finishes that’s got to be one hell of a journey.
