The Ampersand

Great work on this A5 book produced by Chris Mizen for his third year university project.

“I wanted to make a book on the Ampersand because I have a small obssession with it. I did a lot of research on the history and evolution of the Ampersand, also looking at the many different variations that exist. I also created decorative end papers using some of the ampersands from the ‘Poetica Ampersands’ font. I bound the book myself, and the cover has gold foil blocking on it. It comes in a slip case with a golden ribbon that slides the book out when you pull it.”
