Mildred & Duck
Here’s an identity and set of three posters – designed for the RMIT Visual Arts Graduate exhibition, titled If You Touch It, You’ll Get Dirty – by Melbourne’s Mildred & Duck.M&D used abstract images of ‘dirty’ art related mediums to visually represent the exhibition title, and to show the variety of mediums in which the students work. The posters were packaged with a hand-stamped belly band for the opening night.
That’s certainly one of the more interesting ideas for student end of year shows I’ve seen this year. Looks like Melbourne is living up to its reputation as Australia’s number one creative city.
