The Grafikcache has seemingly been reborn as Collate. Spotted this last week after randomly clicking on my Grafikcache bookmark and was whisked off to somewhere lovely and new with massive pictures!

Sad news – for those of us who like a bit of daily design goodness in our diets – GrafikCache is no more. I emailed David to check on the situation and it appears that the very high standards he has set himself through his quality posts – and the dedication that requires – were proving difficult to keep, alongside a busy schedule actually doing design rather than just blogging about it.
GC was one of the very best design blogs out there, often being the first with new work from the well known studios and designers as well as introducing new and exciting work that was always from the top drawer.
Hopefully we will see David and the GC return in the not too distant future.

Some lovely updates – well they are updates from the last time I visited – from Hampus Jageland. Hampus has also got a side project on the go – which he is regularly blogging updates about on his photography site – to build a 600 x 600mm RC plane.

Apologies to Noel – the Lyons in Kent Lyons – for taking a couple of weeks to post about their new ‘Typeblockraphy’ screensaver. Inspired by one of their Helvetica posters, but now using Akzidenz Grotesk, it is available to download via the Kent Lyons blog.
