Show Off

Show Off is a not-for-profit virtual gallery space curated by Dowling Duncan. The most recent work is from American artist Andrew Zuckermann featuring his magnificent birds.

GF Smith

Before I went on my hols I was very kindly invited by James Groves of GF Smith to attend a special preview of the amazing retrospective show ‘Art on Paper’. Unfortunately being a ‘Northerner’ I was unable to make the London show and it looks like it was a great event.

Packing up & moving on

Packing up & moving on is the degree show at Stockport College that is a little bit different this year. This year the students have hired a large removal van and will stop off at a number of locations in Manchester and invite designers and potential employers to get on board and wander around.

Bunch of Stars

Bunch are celebrating a year of international contributions for the Star of Bethnal Green campaign with an exhibition at the Red Gallery in Shoreditch, London. A band of global of illustrators we approached to celebrate and explore the concept of how stars appear different depending on where in the world you happen to be gazing from.

The exhibition opens with a private view on Tuesday 25th May, and runs until Friday 28th May.

Got, Got, Got, Need!

On June 10th Got, Got, Got, Need! -  a charity illustration exhibition – launches The Offside Bar and Gallery in Islington, London with all proceeds going to Luton’s Neonatal Unit.

Glasgow School of Art

The Visual Communication Department at The Glasgow School of Art are holding a fundraising Auction for the Degree Show in June. They will be auctioning work donated by past graduates, such as Anthony Burrill, Jonathan Ellery (Browns), Foster & Partners and Graphic Thought Facility.

Life in 2050

For the futurists and sci-fi fans amongst us the Life in 2050 exhibition looks to be one to check out. Currated by Transmission, Life in 2050 is the vision of 22 selected creatives of what our lives will be like 40 years from now. Featured creatives include Tom Muller, Universal Everything, Hort and Alex Trochut and many others.

Life in 2050 runs from the 22nd April – 4th May at London’s Proud Central Gallery.
