If you could redesign any brand, which would it be? This was the question asked by Viewpoint, the bi-annual magazine about trends, brands, futures, and market strategies and answered by Barcelona/Brussels/Madrid/New York/Santiago studio Base. They went with NASA and as the guys at Base said to me “Is there anything cooler than NASA?”.

Last night saw the unveiling of the London 2012 Olympic mascots. Created by Iris the 2 characters – Wenlock and Mandeville – will represent both the Olympic and Paralympic games. Much more info and an animated introduction and back story can be found on the London 2012 site.

An interesting piece of work currently in production at Tomato. It is part of the artwork for Andrea Parkers forthcoming compilation and I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
I have to say I’m really enjoying what I have seen of Tomato’s recent work.
